JOB TITLE: Administrative Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Culberson County AgriLife Extension Office

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Provides administrative support for daily operations of the AgriLife Extension Office. Duties include office organization, budget tracking, community communication, social media management, and assisting with 4-H activities, perform other responsibilities as needed.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Minimum 1 year in office/administrative setting
- Proficiency with office software and communication tools
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
WORK SCHEDULE & PAY:

JOB TITLE: ROAD & BRIDGE SUPERINTENDENT

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Oversees all county road work projects and directs total departmental activities, to include preparing cost estimates and contracts and interacting with public entities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages road projects to include:
- analyzing and designing projects;
- preparing cost estimates;
- scheduling impact and allocation of personnel, machinery and materials.
- Interacts with outside contractors and county personnel regarding construction projects and funding and supervises services provided by contractors to ensure proper completion.
- Ensures effective utilization of resources, to include personnel and equipment.
- Performs functions under the Road&Bridge Department related to hiring, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Interacts with Commissioner on operational matters within the county to allow the Commissioner to make informed decisions and notify the public, if applicable.
- Oversees the county’s budget to ensure fund availability for projects and supplies for the Road and Bridge Department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Maintenance shop or road construction environment, requires prolonged kneeling, standing, walking, twisting, climbing and the ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs., assisted. Ability to work in varied conditions (i.e., heat, cold, rain, ice, snow, etc.), inside and outside.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Five (5) years of work-related experience, to include three (3) years of supervisory experience. Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License “CDL”, with a good driving record. Mandatory drug testing prior to employment, and will be subject to random, unannounced drug and/or alcohol testing during employment. Working knowledge of equipment operations and supervisory skills. Ability to operate equipment efficiently and safely, must reside in or be willing to relocate to Culberson County.
